Two assailants attacked a police patrol on the crossing of the Streets of Kirov and Keshokov at 9.55 pm on February 6, the Kabardino-Balkarian police report.
Senior Lieutenant Zamir Gaujayev died at the spot. An inspector was hospitalized with a shot in the chest.
The Vulkan-4 and Perekhvat schemes were initiated to find the shooters. The owner of the car the assailants were driving and one of them were identified.
