Russian-Georgian Journalism School ends in Tbilisi

A session of the Russian-Georgian Journalism School has ended in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Various lectures, training and panel discussions were held in the framework of the event.

The attendees of the session discussed the most complicated issues of Russian-Georgian relations.

Many Russian and Georgian experts took part in the event. Among them were Fyodor Lukyanov, the editor-in-chief of the journal Russia in Global Affairs, Sergey Mikheyev, Nikolay Silayev, Georgy Khutsishvili, Nana Devdariani, Andrey Sushentsov, Ivan Sukhov, Gulbaat, Rtskhiladze and others.

"We trying to establish the basis necessary for successful dialogue between our societies," the director general of the Vestnik Kavkaza  news agency, Ismail Agakishiyev, says.

Several protesters gathered in front of the Ambassador Hotel, where the session took place, in order to show their disapproval of the event.
