Not a single Caucasus republic can exist without Russia, just as Russia exist without the Caucasus, the president of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kankov, said at the "Caucasus - 2020" youth forum, Yuga.ru reports.
"We will form a succession pool from active young people, including those who take part in student exchange programs and participate in public organizations, and also those who show the best of themselves at the forum," he added.
The capital city of Kabardino-Balkaria, Nalchik, is hosting the pan-Russian youth forum "Caucasus - 2020". More than 1000 young politicians, entrepreneurs, public figures and sports figures from 70 regions have gathered in the city.
The forum will last until July 23. Top political experts will hold classes for the "future leaders", and various sporting and entertainment events have also been scheduled. Each day of the forum will be devoted to one issue related to politics.
