The police have detained three men aged 30 suspected of the brawl during which a police officer was accidently shot in Mozdok (Ingushetia), RIA Novosti reports.
One of them had been sentenced for trafficking weapons and robbery, another one for production and sales of counterfeit cash.
One more suspect is being treated at a local hospital. He was taken in with a shot in the shin.
The police officer by his partner was shot in Mozdok on Tuesday. The two officers stopped a car for checking. People in the car started a fight with the officers. One of the officers opened fire and shot his partner by accident.
