Movli Vyshegurov, former head of the Ingush Pension Fund, has been released from detention and put under home arrest, the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry in the North Caucasian Federal District reports.
Vyshegurov had been detained by the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee of the Southern Federal District in Ingushetia, suspected of frauds with maternity capital.
According to investigators, his criminal group had been producing fake documents needed for certifying maternity capital for women without actual children. The suspect may get up to 10 years of prison.
