Grenade explodes in front of police building in Georgia

 

A hand grenade exploded in front of regional police department in the town of Kaspi in Shida Kartli region of eastern Georgia on Monday, Trend reports.

According to Georgian Interior Ministry, the explosion damaged the facade and the car in front of the entrance. None of the police officers and bystanders was injured.

A person suspected of the crime was has been detained.

An investigation has been launched under Article 187 of Georgian Criminal Code ( intentional damage to or destruction of property of another).
