Tbilisi protests against foreign workers

The People’s Front of Georgia, an alliance of patriots, has organized protests against foreign workers at the exclusive economic zone of Hualing (China). People demand access to foreign workers to be ended, procedures of granting citizenship to become more strict and the agreement signed by the Georgian Ministry for Economy and Hualing in mid-2012 to be declassified, News Georgia reports.

Protesters continued their march at the Fu De Hotel of China.

Yevgeny Mikeladze of the People’s Front said that the exclusive economic zone will have housing, commercial areas for about 120,000 people from China.

Mikeladze says that the old government signed an agreement, promoting arrival of migrants from Asia and Africa. He believes that the document was kept secret to prevent public outrage.
