Swine flu kills pregnant woman in Georgia

 

Swine flu (H1N1) has killed a young pregnant woman in Georgia, News Georgia reports.

She was the 18th victim of the virus in 2013. 13 others were of medium age. She was the first pregnant woman to be killed by the virus.

Georgia had 242 cases of A/H1N1 and 16 of B/H1N1. Most of the people infected were aged over 65. Paata Imnadze, head of the National Center for Illnesses and Public Healthcare, said that the virus was not wide-spread.
