Ramzan Kadyrov impressed Israel
Construction of an immense mosque has started in the Chechen village of Abu-Gosh not far from Jerusalem. According to reports, the construction was launched on the initiative of the Chechen president, Ramzan Kadyrov.

Residents of Abu-Gosh have always been  elieved to be descendants of Adyg settlers, but it has recently been established that they are actually of Chechen origin.

In 2012 the local council named one of the village's streets after former Chechen president Ahmat Kadyrov, who was killed in 2004. The mosque that is being constructed now will also be named after Kadyrov.
