The Russian Migration Service in Dagestan says that 21,678 applications were filed in 2012, making the republic the leader of online services in the NCFD, as stated by Timur Shrinbekov, deputy head of the section for information support of the migration service.
The official said that 11,840 applications were processed. 9,964 were returned for adjustments. He noted that there were technical problems that had caused delays for 2-3 days.
97% of applications in 2012 were filed to receive international passports. They were filed to avoid having to stand in long queues.
