Up to 150 workers of the mine named after Dzidziguri of the Gruzugol GIG are on strike again, Trend reports.
The strikers are expressing solidarity with the eight miners fired three days ago for demanding their wages to be increased by 50%, improvement of labour conditions and hiring of fired staff.
The miners want Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to solve the problem.
Giorgi Babukhadia, head of the miners’ trade union of Tkibuli, said that trade unions were not requested to join the protests.
