The power supply in the Kurchaloi district of Chechnya has been fully
restored, while in the Shali district more than 32 thousand people are still
without electricity, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.
Today, because of wet snow and squally winds, there was a power failure
in the Shali and Kurchaloi districts. 70 thousand people were left
without electricity.
"As of 17:00 Moscow time, power supply in Kurchaloi district of Chechnya has been
fully restored," the statement reads, according to RIA Novosti.
Two villages in the Shali district of the republic, with a population
of 32.12 thousand people, are still without electricity.
