Kabardino-Balkarian court extends detention of Nalchik 53 suspects

 

The Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria has extended detention of 53 suspects of militant attacks by 3 months until June 26, RIA Novosti cites judge Aslan Dumayev.

12 civilians and 35 police officers were killed in Nalchik on October 13-14, 2005. 95 attackers were killed.

Four more suspects cannot leave town.

The case was initiated in March 2009. 58 suspects were involved for over 10 crime acts, including terrorism, banditism, rebellion and attacks on police officers.
