Pope Francis to enhance ties with Islam

Newly-elected Pope Francis will enhance ties with other religions, including Islam. The pope made a corresponding statement today.

"It's very important to promote inter-faith dialogue and cooperation," the pope said.

The pope also said that the Roman-Catholic Church should enhance ties with the authorities and the atheist community.
