Cossacks of the Zheleznovodsk City Society in the Stavropol Territory have started a hunger strike as a protest against dissolution of their office in Inozemtsevo, RIA Novosti cites Alexander Falko, Chieftain of the Stavropol Cossack District.
Re-registration started on March 23, but the Cossacks ignored it. Head of the Cossack society of Inozemtsevo said that they were unaware of the re-registration and it was organized to take over the office. They were informed only on March 24 when it was already too late.
10 people are on hunger strike. 218 people were. Only 2 out of 218 people underwent re-registry.
