The sides discussed preparations for military service at schools.
Russian and Kazakh officials attending the talks visited the Karaganda conscription office and the military department of the State Technical University. Col. Igor Stryukov, head of the Russian delegation and head of the group of the main department for organization and mobilization of the Russian General Staff, noted the well-organized pre-service preparations.
