Three former inmates from the U.S. Guantanamo Bay detention camp who
arrived in Georgia on Tuesday evening will live freely in the country,
Georgia Online reported, citing an Interior Ministry official.
Interior Ministry analysis chief Shota Utiashvili said the
ex-prisoners are no threat.
“This is why we hope their transfer to Georgia will pose no problem,”
he said, adding that housing had already been arranged for the former
inmates.
