A criminal case was initiated against staff of the department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage of the North Caucasus Federal District for excess of power.
Officials of the department were covering facts of violations in the district and the North Ossetia State National Park. Only one violation worth a fine of 2,000 rubles was mentioned in their report, while others were covered up.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the federal budget los 300,000 rubles.
