The Dagestani customs officers have confiscated 29,731 units of illegal goods since the start of 2013, press service of the Dagestani Customs Directorate reports.
719 units of goods had illegal trademarks, 288 were violating the intellectual rights, 3592 were under consideration at courts.
The problem of protection of intellectual property is especially topical in the light of the upcoming Olympic Games of Sochi in 2014. The plan for detection of illegal products has been fulfilled by 540%.
