Russian government considers amendments to migration laws

 

The Russian government will consider amendments to the laws on departure and excess to Russia and the legal state of foreigners in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

The amendments include a ban on the right of foreigners to enter Russia for administrative violations made for three years. The document says that the ban on entering Russia includes shorter terms on presence on the country’s territory, denial of permits for temporary residence and nullification of existing permits for residence.

The amendments will improve efficiency of migration control.
