The head of a local maternity hospital in Vladikavkaz has been accused of selling babies, the North Ossetian office of the interior ministry says in a statement.
The person was arrested red-handed as she was trying to sell a baby for 500 thousand roubles, RIA Novosti reports.
The police are now trying to detain the person's accomplices.
