North Ossetian Leader Taymuraz Mamsurov said that information about an attempt of a family to sell its child in Vladikavkaz was a shame for the whole republic, his press service reports.
At a meeting with Prime Minister Sergey Takoyev, he expressed interest in the family whose 15-year-old daughter gave birth to the child.
The FSB directorate of North Ossetia found a criminal group trading babies in North Ossetia on April 4. Its members were caught trying to sell one for 500,000 rubles. A criminal case was initiated.
