The Trans-Caucasus Highway was closed due to a 2-meter avalanche at 11.30 pm, RIA Novosti cites Yulia Starchenko, spokeswoman of the North Ossetian Ministry for Emergencies.
The avalanche covered 50 meters of the road. No one was injured. The Narsky Rescue Group is monitoring the area.
