The West Fertilizer Factory exploded in Texas, destroying almost the whole city, 100 houses in the district, damaging the city hospital, school and home of the elderly, RIA Novosti reports.
People were blocked in many buildings. Power was cut.
70 people died and over 200 were injured, including about 40 gravely injured. Six helicopters are on their way to the area. A no-fly zone was imposed.
