President of the Ukrainian Institute for Problems of Regional Politics and Advanced Politology Dmitry Kocrhinsky said that he will pay $10,000 for the video about Russian TV celebrity Ivan Urgant’s mocking Ukraine, Interfax reports.
Korchinsky said that the joke by urgent was purposefully left in the show to make fun of Ukraine.
Ivan Urgant said in the Smak cooking show: “I cut the greens the way a red commissar cut villagers of a Ukrainian village”. The Department for Information Policy of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry made a special statement about the phrase. Urgant apologized for his joke in his other show Vecherny Urgant on Channel One.
