Ingush leader demands checkpoints at Chechen border to be enforced

 

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has demanded checkpoints near the Chechen border to be enforced as a response to the incident at Arshty in the Sunzhensky District of Ingushetia, RIA Novosti reports.

Six people were injured in the conflict of Chechen and Ingush law enforcers on April 18. Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov ordered prevention of Chechens from entering Ingush territories.

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov accused Ingush authorities of inefficient counter-terrorism policy and Yevkurov of being ungrateful.
