The Tbilisi mayor’s office has approved the results of the second stage of the project ‘New life of old Tbilisi’, Business Georgia reports.
The program started in 2009 and includes the creation of additional work places, a fund for rehabilitation of rundown apartments and historic thoroughfares and improvement of living conditions.
34 companies participated in the competition. The commission viewing the projects expressed readiness to finance 9 of them. The budget of the project is $25 million. The projects are financed by ‘TVS bank’, ‘Bank of Georgia’, ‘Korstandart bank’ and ‘Basis bank’.
