53% of people questioned within the framework of the EU Regional Information Program believe that Azerbaijan and the EU have good relations, 20% have contrary opinion. 1000 people were questioned.
Usually, about 45% of people in the region express positive opinions about relations with the EU and 29% negative.
A third of Azerbaijanis say that the EU is a priority partner of Azerbaijan, 59% want more involvement of the EU in democratic developments, 51% want support of human rights, 48% economic growth, 47% trade.
Azerbaijanis have more faith in the EU (39%) than the UN (19%) and the NATO (27%). Most people trust the Azerbaijani government (92%) and parliament (68%), only 22% do not trust any political parties.
65% of Azerbaijanis are satisfied with life. 48% say that Azerbaijan moves in the right direction, 17% disagree, 69% believe that the economy is in good condition (unlike the average of 25% in the region). 60% are satisfied with democracy in the country.
