The governor of the Krasnodar region, Alexander Tkachev, has commented on the conflict at the "Don" children's summer camp, as a result of which 9 people were hospitalized.
"We consider this conflict as disorderly conduct. Any attempts to make it appear an ethnic clash is unacceptable," noted Tkachev.
The governor also rated highly the work of the law-enforcement agencies, which prevented the spread of the conflict. All the Chechen children who received injuries in the fighting received medical help and are already back home.
