Suspected Boston Marathon blast organizer Tamerlan Tsarnayev’s ex-girlfriend Nadin Askensao said that his studies of radical Islam had started in 2009.
She met Tsarnayev in 2006 when she was 17. He changed in three years and became more aggressive, demanding her to obey Sharia and beating her. Tsarnayev demanded her to convert to Islam.
They split when she learned that Tamerlan dated Catherine Russel, the girl who became Tsrnayev’s wife afterwards.
