90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's birth marked in Israel

Leaders of the Israeli-Azerbaijani Association have met with Israeli reporters in Tel-Aviv in order to discuss the 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's birth.

Representative of the association in Baku Vakhid Bayramov, president of the body and former member of the Israeli parliament Alex Miller and head of the Azerbaijani Culture Centre Yegyana Salman took part in the event.

Opening the event, Vakhid Bayramov praised the role Heydar Aliyev played in the history of Azerbaijan and the country's political and economic development. He also informed the attendees of the event about the celebrations that are being planned in Azerbaijan.

Alex Miller, the president of the Israel-Azerbaijan association, noted that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel are developing rapidly. He also underlined that the association plays an important role in this process.
