Iran this year will not pay cash subsidies for bread, the head of the reform headquarters Mohammad Reza Farzin said.According to Farzin, last year bread subsidies were paid due to the constant rise in prices. However, as prices will not rise any more, the subsidies will also be cut, Trend reports with reference to the Iranian news agency Mehr.In June 2012, Iran transferred approx. 280,000 rials ($23) to Iranian families for nine months as a special bread subsidy. A total of almost 74.5 million Iranians received the subsidy.
