Ramzan Kadyrov: Chechens fighting in Syria brainwashed by social networks
The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, explained today how individuals from Chechnya could get to the war in Syria."There is evidence that among the fighters in Syria there are a few residents of the republic who went to the country to participate in a sacred, in their opinion, war. Their brains have been fouled by social networks. And they have been trained in a third country," RIA News quotes Kadyrov.According to Kadyrov, the war in Syria is neither a holy war, nor a jihad. "Both sides in the Syrian conflict demonstrate brutality and cruelty, they bully their own people," the Chechen leader said.
