Vasily Krutko, former head of the Krymsky District Municipality, Vladimir Ulanovsky, former head of the Krymsk City Settlement, Irina Ryabchenko, former head of the Nizhnebakansky Settlement of the Krymsky District, and Victor Zhdanov, acting head of the directorate for prevention of emergencies and civil protection of the Krymsky District Municipality, are on trial for the flood that happened in Krymsk in July 2012, Yuga.ru reports.

The four officials are charged with failing to warn the population about the flood, despite being fully informed about the disaster. 153 people died, two remain missing, 5 were gravely injured on July 6-7.
Krutko, Ulanovsky and Ryabchenko ordered their executives to compose false documents about well-time reaction to the oncoming disaster.
