Azerbaijan demands Iran to release Khalida Khalid, a scientist of the Literature Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, and her assistant Shamkhal Guseynov detained by the Iranian Ministry for Information, Security and Intelligence on April 30.
The Azerbaijani Consulate General sent a note to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, demanding clarification of the scientists’ detention reasons.
