Trial of Krymsk district head Vasily Krutko, Krymsk Mayor Vladimir Ulanovsky, head of the directorate for emergencies Victor Zhdanov and head of a village Irina Ryabchenko has started in the Krasnodar territory, Ekho Moskvy reports.
The four are charged with taking no measures to warn the population about the flood, although they were informed about the incoming disaster.
The flood on June 7, 2012, killed 153 people and destroyed thousands of houses.
