Kazakhstan deports illegal migrants

Kazakhstan has completed the first stage of the operation "Illegal Alien", which has resulted in the deportation of nearly 700 foreigners, the press release of the Interior Ministry says."15,465 foreigners and stateless persons were fined for the violation of the rules of stay in Kazakhstan, including 449 foreigners, and 15,016 citizens of the CIS. 687 people were expelled from the country by court decisions, including seven people from abroad, and 680 citizens of the CIS," the Interior Ministry reported, according to Trend.The first phase of the operation was carried out from 13 to 17 May. "128 wanted persons have been detained. 74 criminal cases for violation of immigration laws have been initiated," the press release said.
