Security services prevent terrorist attack in Moscow
Russia's FSB prevented a terrorist attack that was attempted in Moscow. Two militants were killed and one arrested in the Moscow region, the information center of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee announced."The decisive action of the security forces foiled an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack in the capital," the committee said. "The Russian Federal Security Service, in the course of the verification of real-time data on the preparation by a group of three militants of a terrorist act in Moscow, established the whereabouts of bandits in one of the houses in the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo," Interfax quotes the National Anti-Terrorist Committee."These criminals, all citizens of the Russian Federation, came from the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, where they have been trained and prepared to commit a terrorist act," the committee said.The terrorosts were surrounded and opened fire in response to an invitation to surrender. "As a result of a fast-moving clash, two of them were killed, one arrested. One officer is slightly wounded," the Committee reports.
