The death toll in the explosion on Monday in Makhachkala has risen to four, 35 people are hospitalized, including one child, the website of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation says.
"As a result of the explosions, 39 persons are injured, and 4 people (adults) were killed on the spot. Currently, 35 people are hospitalized, including a child," the statement reads, according to RIA News.
The press center of the Interior Ministry reported that the fourth deceased is a bailiff.
At the airport "Ramenskoye" a team of specialized medical care of the National Center for Disaster Medicine "Protection" is ready to fly to Makhachkala.
