Two tourists, who did not return from the route in the mountains of Karachay-Cherkessia, have been found alive, said a spokeswoman of the republican Ministry for Emergencies, Bela Cherkesova.
The information that two tourists have not come back from their track, appeared on Monday at 11:20 MSK from their families.
"Two residents of the Krasnodar region were found in the area of the Barite waterfall by the group of rescuers and were taken to the village of Arhiz in a search-and-rescue unit" RIA News reported.
According to recent information, the two men born in 1960 and 1970 on Saturday at 14:30 reached the area of the Sofia lakes, but on Sunday failed to communicate with their relatives. Due to bad weather conditions, the tourists lost the trail and stopped for the night.
