Greece announces invasion of its territory by four Turkish fighters

Four Turkish fighter jets entered the airspace of Greece today, and stayed in it for 40 minutes, according to the Hellenic National Defense General Staff.

The Hellenic National Defense General Staff reports that a formation of four Turkish fighter jets, consisting of two F-4 and two F-16 fighters, who entered the Athens FIR between Chios and Samos at 10:53, operated a flight above the island group of Fourni, at 11:06, at an altitude of 1000 metres and 3000 metres respectively.

Turkish fighters jets frequently cross into Greek air space to bait Greek pilots, who follow them until they leave.

As reported by the Greek military, the data of Turkish jets was determined in accordance with international standards and practice.
