VKontakte social network blacklisted by mistake

The Russian Federal Supervision Agency for Information Technologies and Communications has blacklisted VKontakte, one of the largest social networks in the country, by mistake, RIA Novosti cites Vladimir Pikov of the federal agency.

Russia launched the automated registry of websites on November 1, 2012, according to the law protecting children from information hazardous for their health and development.
