The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is sure that the head of the neighboring republic of Dagestan, Ramadan Abdullatipov, is able to fix the difficult situation in the country and is doing so successfully.
"I think Abdullatipov is coping with the difficult situation in Dagestan, and is doing so very successfully. He is a patriot and loves his people, and I am sure he will succeed," Kadyrov said, stressing that Abdullatipov is an experienced and wise politician.
"He can lecture all of us on the subject. When we were still running around in underwear, he was already a politician," RIA News quotes Kadyrov.
Answering a question as to whether he could change the situation in Dagestan, Kadyrov said that "I wasn't asked to do so. If Putin charges me with it, I will deal with Georgia."
