Azerbaijan and Georgia to protect water resources of River Kura

Azerbaijan and Georgia will sign an interstate agreements supported by the EU to protect water resources of the Kura River that flows between the two states, Georgia Online reports.

The agreements reflects the basic principles of the Helsinki Accords. It will be the first agreement on water resources signed by Azerbaijan since becoming independent.
