Police from other regions to patrol resorts of Kuban

 

Vladimir Vinevsky, Chief of the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry in Kuban, said that the region will be patrolled by over 300 officers from other regions of the country, RIA Novosti reports.

About 400 officers from other districts of the region will patrol the resorts. Over 5,000 public law enforcing formations will be involved in maintaining order.

About 800 police officers and over 300 public officials will patrol the resorts of Kuban every day.

OMON officers will be patrolling in the Tuapsinsky District.

Kuban resorts expect over 13 million tourists in 2013. Over 11 million tourists visited the region in 2011 and 2012.
