A newly-opened mosque, refurbished through public donations, opened on Friday in Tkhagapsh aul in the Lazarevsky region of Sochi, reports RIA-Novosti. The mosque was built at the end of the XIX century and was closed in the 1930s. The mosque is situated in an area inhabitated by Shapsugs (people of the Adyghe branch), indigenous people of the Lazarevski region of Sochi.
