Russian Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District Alexander Khloponin said that there were rare cases of cheats during the Unified State Exam in the North Caucasus on May 27, RIA Novosti reports.
Some people were caught posting exam papers on the Internet, but the exams were still held with few violations.
The North Caucasus education system has little difference from the one in any other part of Russia, Khloponin goes on.
Russian media pointed out suspicious results of early exam tests in April: 7 out of 8 exam sheets for Russian language with 100-points come from the North Caucasus. Pupils in the Stavropol Territory had the same exam questions. The Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency checked the papers and reduced the points.
