Two Georgian citizens previously detained in South Ossetia have been released. A statement released on Monday said that two residents of the village of Kveshi in the Gori district, Avtandil and Tamar Khaduri, have been released after talks on a "hot line", the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The above-named men were detained by Russian border guards on May 27 for "so-called trespassing," Interfax reports.
Earlier, Georgian media reported that the detainees are relatives of the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Nodar Khaduri.
