Turkish protesters break into prime minister’s residence

A group of protesters attacked Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s residence in Dolmabahce yesterday. The prime minister was abroad during the incident. The police drove the protesters out.

Disorders in Istanbul started a week ago. People protest against construction of the Topçu Kışlası Trade Center on the Taksim Square over the Gezi Park. Protests spread to Ankara and Izmir. The 6th Administrative Court of Istanbul stopped the construction.
