Makhachkala Mayor Sayid Amirov and his suspected accomplices Magomed Abdulgalimov and Yusup Japarov have been charged with murdering Russian investigator Arsen Gajibekov, RIA Novosti reports.
Moscow lawyer Mark Kruter will defend the mayor. He has filed an appeal to replace detention with home arrest. The Moscow City Court will consider the appeal in 2-3 weeks.
